From our one year old Gotland cross breed sheep (hogget). Hogget is tender like lamb with better flavour. The animals are slowly grown on grass all year round with some hay & feed to see them through the tough winter months.
Born & raised on the croft to organic standards then killed at Munros in Dingwall & butchered by Macbeths in Forres. As the processors don’t have an organic license we can’t call the meat organic, only from animals raised to organic standards!
